PURPOSE
In recent years, after genoma, the analysis of clinical data has changed perspective because it has been a
growing interest to consider the influence of genetic data doing diagnosis or prognosis and to investigate
the relationships of genetic data with the usual biomedical parameter.
Aim of the conference is to put in evidence the evolution and potentiality of new approaches that take into
account the application of computational intelligence and bioinformatics methods to clinical data, the
advancement that can be obtained through the integration of methods and the data fusion. This conference is
supported by the BIOPATTERN Network of Excellence where computer scientists, healthcare specialists, clinicians,
biomedical engineers, bioinformaticians and medical/biostatisticians are working to develop new methods for
clinical data analysis, with particular attention on oncological diseases and brain diseases.
EACDA is intended to be an international forum for researchers and practitioners interested in the advances in,
and applications of clinical data analysis to exchange the latest research, results, and ideas in these areas.
All papers submitted to this conference will be peer evaluated by two reviewers. Acceptance will be
based primarily on originality and contribution.
