WELCOME
This workshop is organized in honour of Antonina Starita, to remember
her person, her scientific work and achievements.
CIB 2009 is aimed to gather her alumnus and other international researchers
(leaders of international projects) who had the privilege to know her and to develop
with her scientific collaborations on different fields of the Computational Intelligence
area and of the related interdisciplinary research in Medicine, Chemistry and Biology.
In keeping with the collaborative spirit of Tonina, the workshop aims to be an opportunity
to meet and discuss the perspectives and the developments of new joint research in such evolving area.
TOPICS OF INTEREST
The research topics of the workshop cover many of the various scientific areas spanned
by the research activity of Antonina Starita on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning,
including the interdisciplinary aspects of the Computational Intelligence in the fields of
Medicine, Chemistry, Biology, Bioengineering and Robotics.
